The large frameless shower screen MELINA - MI TWF from the WALK IN series is especially suitable for modern bathrooms and designer interiors. Thanks to the possibility of individual adjustment of the support bar length (max. 1200 mm), an unusually large shower area can be achieved, in which you will feel real freedom of movement.
An unusual appearance, minimalist anchoring using angles and a choice of design in three color variants are typical for the new MELINA doorless shower screens.
To fix the screen, and therefore to ensure its maximum stability, a design aluminum support bar is used, coordinated with the color of the angles - Brillant, Black or Gold color. The length of the support bar can be adapted to specific needs, up to a surprising 1200 mm. Thanks to simple fixing, the shower screen can be installed in both the left and right versions. The safety glass of the shower screen is in the clear Transparent design, and the anchoring angles, like the support bar, are in the Brillant, Black or Gold design.
The advantage of the MI TWF shower screen is, mainly due to the absence of moving parts, a long service life with minimal mechanical wear.
Due to the open shower space, the shower screen is especially suitable for heavily heated bathrooms. If the bathroom is less heated, in combination with hot water, a draft will be created in the shower area, which can cause a feeling of coldness when showering.
The MI TWF shower screen consists of 8 mm safety glass. The glass is produced by so-called tempering (heating and subsequent rapid cooling), which greatly increases its mechanical and thermal resistance as well as its bending strength. The durability of the glass was tested with a force of 140 kg concentrated in the center of the glass suspended by the edges. This situation cannot normally occur, so the chance of breaking the glass is minimal. If the glass is still damaged, it breaks (similar to the car glass) into small fragments, so there is no risk of injury.
The MI TWF shower screen boasts a nanotechnology-based RothETC treatment that prevents the build-up of dirt, grease and scale. You can find more information here.
By installing a shower screen directly on the floor, a natural barrier-free entrance to the shower area can be created. Of course, it is also possible to install it on one of our low shower trays. If you want to advise, the marble shower tray MARMO NEO SQUARE-R could be great in combination with a shower screen.
