Sliding shower door for a niche or in combination with a side panel MI FX2

We wanted to give you a real sense of comfort so that you can feel really good in your bathroom. We, therefore, equipped our newly designed MI D2L/MI D2R sliding doors with the SOFTCLOSE automatic closing system.

We have for you a wide selection of dimensional variants of sliding doors with a height of 2050 mm with ESG glass with a thickness of 6 mm.

ATTENTION: Nominal sizes of shower enclosures are designed for INSTALLATION ON THE TRAY and they are always assembled with indentation from the edge of the tray. With INSTALLATION ON THE TILES there is a risk, that the size of shower enclosure will be smaller than measured width of the tiles. It is necessary to follow the size charts specified in “TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION” file, which is available to download on the product pages.

The MI D2L/MI D2R niche sliding shower doors from the MELINA LINE series will surely suit your bathroom. You can choose from two color variants of the Brillant and Black elox profile. The simple lines of the aluminum frame, which, despite its strength, look light and also match well with the handle and transparent seal.

Design of the shower doors

The shower door is produced in nine sizes, in right and left versions. The combination of stable construction and a frameless lower part expands the possibilities of use. You can also have it as a barrier-free shower enclosure. We have equipped the shower door with a bottom tilting system, which will make maintenance much easier for you. The silent movement of the door with slow automatic closing is made possible thanks to the SOFTCLOSE system, which is built into the upper frame.

We offer safety glass filler in a timeless transparent (clear) design. The elegant look of the shower door is accentuated by the designer's handle. The standard height is 2050 mm.

Door tilting for easy maintenance

Cleaning doors has never been easier. On the bottom of the door, you will find the bottom glider, which you can press slightly and slide the door towards the inside of the shower enclosure. When the bottom part is folded back, the door remains fixed in the upper rollers, so you don't have to worry about difficult handling or injury.

Safety glasses with surface treatment

MI D2L/MI D2R shower doors have 6 mm thick safety glass, produced by so-called tempering (heating and subsequent rapid cooling), which greatly increases their mechanical and thermal resistance as well as bending strength. The strength of the glasses was tested with a force 140 kg concentrated in the center of the glass suspended by the edges. This situation is very unlikely to occur normally, so the chance of breaking the glass is minimal. However, if the glass is damaged, it breaks (similar to the car glass) into small fragments without sharp edges, so you don't have to worry about injury.

All safety glass is RothETC coated. It is the latest nanotechnology that prevents the build-up of dirt, grease and scale. Thanks to this surface treatment, you can wash the glass in a few minutes, giving you more time for yourself. More information can be found at www.roth-czech.cz/easy-to-clean--1.
